Ingredients

  • 2 whole pears

  • 3 cups water

  • ⅓ cup Truvia® Cane Sugar Blend

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 2 cups quick oats

  • ¼ cup slivered almonds

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

  • 1.

    Peel, wash and cut pears into cubes.

  • 2.

    In a medium saucepan, combine pear cubes, water, Truvia® Cane Sugar Blend, and salt.

  • 3.

    Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat.

  • 4.

    Once a boil is reached, stir in oats, reduce heat and cook for 1 minute.

  • 5.

    Remove from the heat, stir in almonds, cinnamon and vanilla extract.

  • 6.

    Cover and let stand for 2 minutes.

  • 7.

    Once cooled, enjoy.
