Vanilla-Pear Oatmeal Recipe with Truvía® Nectar

  • 2 whole pears

  • 3 cups water

  • 14 cup Truvía® Nectar

  • 14 tsp salt

  • 2 cups quick oats

  • 14 cup slivered almonds

  • 12 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Peel, wash and cut pears into cubes.

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine pear cubes, water, Truvía® Nectar, and salt.

  3. Bring mixture to a boil over medium heat.

  4. Once a boil is reached, stir in oats, reduce heat and cook for 1 minute.

  5. Remove from the heat, stir in almonds, cinnamon and vanilla extract.

  6. Cover and let stand for 2 minutes.

  7. Enjoy once cooled.
