Mixed Berry Grunt Recipe with Truvía® Natural Sweetener

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 Tbsp of zero-calorie Truvía® Natural Sweetener Spoonable***

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 14 tsp salt

  • 14 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 14 cup butter or margarine

  • 13 cup skim milk


  1. Mix Truvía® Natural Sweetener and cornstarch in 3-quart saucepan. Stir in water and lemon juice until well-blended; stir in berries.

  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute.

  3. Mix flour, 2 tablespoons Truvía® Natural Sweetener, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in milk.

  4. Drop dough by 8 tablespoonfuls onto hot blueberry mixture. Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes; cover and cook 10 minutes longer. Serve warm with vanilla frozen yogurt, if desired.
