Cinnamon Glazed Sticky Buns Recipe with Truvía® Nectar and Truvía® Cane Sugar Blend

  • 14 cup Truvía® Nectar

  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

  • 6 Tbsp butter

  • 1 packet (14 oz.) instant yeast

  • 4 12 tsp Truvía® Cane Sugar Blend

  • 3 cups flour

  • 34 tsp salt

  • 14 cup milk

  • 1 12 tsp Truvía® Nectar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 12 tsp vanilla extract

  • 4 Tbsp butter, softened

  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Sticky Topping
  • 12 cup Truvía® Nectar

  • 2 tsp cornstarch

  • 34 tsp vanilla extract


  1. In a small bowl, mix together Truvía® Nectar, cinnamon and softened butter.

  2. Set aside.

  1. Combine the yeast, Truvía® Cane Sugar Blend, flour and salt into a stand mixer bowl.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the milk, Truvía® Nectar, egg and vanilla.

  3. With dough hook on mixer, gradually pour Truvía® Nectar mixture, into flour mixture while mixing on low for 2-4 minutes.

  4. Now on medium speed, add softened butter and mix until dough is smooth and bowl sides are fairly clean for about 6 minutes.

  5. Remove dough and shape into one large ball.

  6. Spray mixing bowl with cooking spray and return dough ball to bowl. Spray top of ball with cooking spray, cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled for 1 hour 15 min.

  7. On floured surface, roll out dough into 10x12 inch rectangle.

  8. Spread previously made filling mixture onto dough, leaving a 12 inch border along far edge.

  9. Sprinkle on pecans.

  10. Roll dough into a tight cylinder, seal side edge down with a small amount of water.

  11. Cut into 12 equal size slices/buns.

  12. Place spiral side up in a greased large muffin tin.

  13. Cover with plastic and let rise for 40 min.

  14. Preheat oven to 325ºF.

  15. Bake 25 min.

  16. Cool for 10 min.

Sticky Topping
  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together Truvía® Nectar and corn starch.

  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat while stirring constantly.

  3. Remove from heat.

  4. Cool for 5 minutes than add vanilla extract.

  5. Drizzle over buns
