Directions

  • 1.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray.

  • 2.

In a medium bowl, thoroughly mix all filling ingredients until uniform.

  • 3.

Separate dough into its eight triangle-shaped portions. One at a time, stretch or roll each triangle out slightly, making it into a larger triangle.

Evenly distribute and spread filling among the triangles, avoiding the edges. Beginning at the base, tightly roll up each triangle over the filling. Place on the baking sheet, evenly spaced.

  • 5.

Bake until golden brown, 12 - 15 minutes. The let cool completely.

  • 6.

In a small microwave-safe bowl, mix Truvía® Original Sweetener with 1 Tbsp water. Microwave for 20 seconds, and stir to dissolve.

  • 7.

In a medium bowl, stir cream cheese until smooth. Add Truvía® Original Sweetener mixture and remaining icing ingredients. Stir until smooth. Transfer icing to a plastic bag, and squeeze it down toward a bottom corner. Snip off that corner with scissors, creating a small hole for piping. Evenly pipe mixture over the crescent rolls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick & Easy I tried this recipe for breakfast for my family recently on my day off. Was I surprised! They turned out delicious! Very easy to throw together and doesn't take a lot of time, so we didn't spend the whole morning cooking and cleaning. We were able to eat and go out into the fresh air for some "family time".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Brunch I LOVE Truvia!! I also make these into cinnamon rolls by connecting the perforations on the crescent rolls and then spreading the butter and cinnamon truvia and rolling and cutting as you would normal cinnamon buns. SOOO YUMMY!
