Buffalo Hot Wings with celery and sauce

This is a great oven-baked version of chicken wings that are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. This recipe contains 20% fewer calories and 79% less sugar* per serving than the full-sugar version.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings, ~6 wings and 6 drumettes

  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder

  • 1 ½ tsp salt

  • 12 cup Truvia Sweet Complete Brown

  • ½ cup buffalo wing sauce

Directions

  • 1.

    Preheat oven to 450° F.

  • 2.

    Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil with a metal rack set inside.

  • 3.

    Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels and lay wings in a single layer on a metal rack.

  • 4.

    Combine baking powder and salt in a small bowl and stir to combine. Sprinkle mixture evenly over both sides of wings.

  • 5.

    Bake for 20 minutes. Flip wings and bake for an additional 25 minutes until crisp and golden brown.

  • 6.

    Combine Truvia Sweet Complete Brown and buffalo wing sauce in a large bowl.

  • 7.

    Toss hot wings into sauce using tongs to coat.
