Teriyaki Sauce Recipe

This simple sauce is rich with flavor. Try it drizzled on your stir fry or use it as a dipping sauce for wings. Each serving contains 50% fewer calories and 97% less sugar* per serving than the full-sugar version. Makes 8 servings, 2-Tbsp(s).

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup water

  • ¼ cup reduced sodium soy sauce

  • 1 tsp. finely chopped fresh garlic

  • 1 tsp. finely chopped fresh ginger

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 14 cup Truvia Sweet Complete Brown Sweetener

  • ¼ cup warm water

  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch

Directions

  • 1.

    In a small saucepan, add water, soy sauce, finely chopped garlic and ginger, sesame oil and Truvia Sweet Complete Brown Sweetener. Stir.

  • 2.

    Bring to a boil over medium/high heat.

  • 3.

    In a separate, small bowl, add ¼ cup warm water to the 1 Tbsp of cornstarch, mix well until no lumps.

  • 4.

    Add the cornstarch mix to the saucepan mixture, boil for 5 minutes.

  • 5.

    Cool and transfer to storage container with sealable lid, will slightly thicken as cools.

  • 6.

    Refrigerate until needed.
