German Chocolate Overnight Oats with Truvía® Brown Sugar Blend 

Start your morning out with a creamy (and easy!) version of a breakfast staple: rolled oats. Breakfast becomes a delectable treat with the addition of sweet coconut, rich chocolate and crunchy pecans. This recipe, crafted by Chef Devin Alexander, contains 15% less calories and 72% less sugar* than the full-sugar version. Makes one serving.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup old fashioned rolled oats

  • ½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

  • 1 tablespoon Truvía® Brown Sugar Blend

  • ½ tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened reduced-fat shredded coconut

  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Combine the rolled oats, almond milk, Truvía® Brown Sugar Blend, cocoa powder, and coconut in an 8-ounce jar or re-sealable plastic container. 

  2. Refrigerate the oatmeal for at least 6 hours or up to 2 days.

  3. Top with the pecans just before enjoying the oatmeal.

  4. Store leftover in a sealed container in refrigerator.

*Each serving has 280 calories and 7 grams of sugar per serving, compared to the full-sugar version that has 330 calories and 25 grams of sugar per serving.
