Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and Delicious My family loves French Toast. My hubby and I are diabetic so this was a easy and delicious sweet treat to prepare for everyone. I loved it because it didn't spike my blood sugar and was low in calories. I topped french toast with sprinkle of Truvia and fresh fruit. Yum! it provided me with the right amount of sweetness. Thanks for sharing this delicious recipe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great, easy recipe Great recipe. Really cuts down on the sugar without cutting down on the taste. I spray my pan with just a little bit of oil instead of using butter and that saves some calories. Simple, easy to make, great tasting recipe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Edits I made french toast, but baked it instead. SO GOOD! Try putting it all in a baking dish in the oven at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. Also, instead of maple syrup, try red wine syrup! (1/4 cup red wine + 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar. Bring to light boil for 3 minutes, dissolve 1 tsp corn starch in a tiny amount of water, add to pan, simmer for 3 minutes. Sweeten with Stevia to taste!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Who needs Paris? I don't often eat french toast but with this recipe I am able to eat it more than once a month. The texture of the bread allows for better absorption of the mix and the Truvia has a flavor so like sugar that I don't miss any great flavor of the recipe.
