Banana Soft Serve Recipe with Truvia® Natural Sweetener

  • 4 bananas, ripe to over ripe

  • 2 tbsp fat-free half and half of almond milk as a dairy free option

  • 1 ½ tsp Truvia® Natural Sweetener

  • 1 vanilla bean or 3 tsp vanilla extract

  • ¼ tsp salt

*or 2 packets of zero-calorie Truvia® Natural Sweetener


  • 1.

    Wash, peel and cut bananas into large pieces, then freeze in an airtight bag or container overnight.

  • 2.

    Place frozen bananas pieces into a blender or food processor.

  • 3.

    Add milk of choice, Truvia® Natural Sweetener, vanilla (scraped out inner of bean) and salt.

  • 4.

    Blend until you achieve a soft-serve texture, 3-5 minutes at high speed.

  • 5.

    You can serve immediately, or transfer to a container and freeze an additional 30 minutes, for a harder texture.

  • 6.

    Return remaining to freezer for storage.

*Each serving contains 120 calories and 15 grams of sugar compared to the full-sugar version that has 140 calories and 25 grams of sugar per serving.
