Apple Crisp with Brown Sugar Blend Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oatmeal

  • 4 cups apples, sliced

  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 12 cup all-purpose flour

  • 14 cup butter, unsalted

  • 12 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 14 cup Truvía® Brown Sugar Blend

  • non-stick cooking spray

Directions

  • 1.

    Heat oven to 375°F.

  • 2.

    Spray bottom and sides of an 8-inch square pan with non-stick cooking spray.

  • 3.

    In a medium mixing bowl, toss apple slices in lemon juice to coat, then evenly layer the apples into the pan.

  • 4.

    In a medium bowl, mix all remaining ingredients then sprinkle over apples.

  • 5.

    Bake for 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender when pierced with a fork.

I preped it, baked it and it was a flop. The apples cooked and that's about it. I even kept baking it longer and added butter on top so the darn thing would cook and there would be some liquid...............Sorry, but the worst receipe I've ever tried on line.
