Peach Strudel Recipe with Truvía® Brown Sugar Blend and Truvía® Natural Sweetener

This mouthwatering strudel is loaded with sweet, caramelized peaches and crunchy pecans inside a golden puff pastry crust.   • 3 Tbsp Truvía® Brown Sugar Blend

  • 1 Tbsp flour

  • Pinch of salt

  • 4 medium peaches (fresh or frozen), peeled, pitted and sliced

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 14 cup pecans, chopped

  • 1 sheet (about 8-12 oz) of frozen puff pastry dough, thawed

  • 1 egg

  • 1 Tbsp water

  • 2 tsp of zero-calorie Truvía® Natural Sweetener Spoonable***

  • Non-stick cooking spray


  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Spray a baking sheet with non stick spray.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the Truvía® Brown sugar Blend, flour, and salt

  3. Toss sliced peaches together with the Truvía® Brown Sugar Blend mixture, vanilla and chopped pecans.

  4. Unfold the puff pastry dough on a baking sheet. Spoon the peach mixture down the center of the dough.

  5. Cut 1-inch strips in the dough on each side of the peach mixture, cutting to about 12-inch form the peach filling.

  6. Fold the first strip on one side over the filling and then the first strip on the other side. Fold alternating strips all the way down the pastry to create a braided pattern.

  7. Whisk together the egg and water. Brush the top of the pastry with egg wash and sprinkle with Truvía® Natural Sweetener.

  8. Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
