Ingredients
Iced Vanilla Thai Tea
2 cups water
2 black tea bags, or 2 teaspoons loose leaf black tea
1 cinnamon stick
⅛ teaspoon ground turmeric
½ cup whole milk, or milk of choice
Directions
- 1.
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan over medium high heat.
- 2.
Add tea bags, star anise, cinnamon, cardamom and turmeric and reduce heat to low.
- 3.
Simmer gently for 5 minutes.
- 4.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and Truvia® Stevia Sweetener Packet until dissolved.
- 5.
Let mixture steep for another 5 minutes before straining into a heat-safe container.
- 6.
Transfer to fridge to chill completely, about 30 minutes.
- 7.
Fill 2 glasses with ice and divide tea mixture evenly among the glasses. Top evenly with milk, then serve.
