Blueberry Mojito with Truvía® Nectar

Fresh blueberries, mint, lime, oh my! This Bluberry Mojito created by Chef Devin Alexander blends together refreshing flavors to make a cocktail that will make your tastebuds happy. And with 12.5% fewer calories* and 31% less sugar* per serving than the full-sugar version, it'll keep your tummy happy, too.

Ingredients

  • 12 cup fresh blueberries

  • 5 large mint leaves

  • 2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice

  • 1 tsp Truvía® Nectar

  • 4 oz naturally flavored lime sparkling water

  • 2 oz light rum

  • 12 cup crushed ice

Directions

  1. Add the blueberries, mint, lime juice and Truvía® Nectar to a 14-ounce glass.

  2. Using a muddler, muddle the mixture until the blueberries are crushed into fine pieces.

  3. Add the sparkling water, rum and crushed ice.

  4. Stir and enjoy!

* Makes 1 serving. Each serving has 140 calories and 13 grams of sugar per serving compared to the full-sugar version that has 160 calories and 19 grams of sugar per serving.

Since I feel Truvia is slightly (ever so) less sweet, it adds just enough and the tart blueberries make this mojito truly unique. Try this even when you don't have mint on hand, it will taste great.
