Ingredients

Directions

  • 1.

Wash and rinse plastic containers with tight-fitting lids.

  • 2.

Wash and hull strawberries. Crush 1 cup of berries at a time using a potato masher, leaving some bits of fruit. (Do not purée)

  • 3.

Measure 2 cups of crushed fruit and place in large bowl.

  • 4.

Blend together Truvía® Sweet Complete® Granulated Sweetener and pectin until thoroughly mixed in a large saucepan.

  • 5.

Stir in water and bring Truvia® Sweet Complete® Granulated Sweetener, pectin and water mixture to a boil on medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat.

  • 6.

Add fruit into hot pectin mixture and stir for 1 minute until thoroughly mixed.

  • 7.

Pour jam into prepared containers, leaving 12 inch of space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing, and cover.

  • 8.

Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours until set.

  • 9.

Store jam in the freezer for up to 1 year. Thaw each jar in the refrigerator before using. It may be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick and easy! Tried this receipe and doubled it, and made 5 eight oz. jars. It was so easy and it turned out very tasty and set right up! I had very ripe strawberries and tried not to add too much juice from berries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding Made a batch of strawberry per the directions - turned out perfect. Also made a batch of peach which has great flavor but didn't set quite right due to the amount of liquid in the peaches. Still has an outstanding flavor though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DELICIOUS!!!!!! What a great recipe! So so easy to make, and it is absolutely delicious! Once you make this, you will never buy store bought sugar free jam again! This tastes just like regular jelly. I cannot wait to try this on my pancake tomorrow morning with a few slices of banana and Maple Grove Sugar Free Maple Syrup. I am going to try this with my plain Greek yogurt for a healthy sweet treat as well. Oh, and of course, I will have some on a piece of toast, too. :) Good thing this makes a decent amount, as I will surely be using all of it! Even my husband loved it, and couldn't believe it was sugar free. Best part- no funky aftertaste! Thank you very much for posting this recipe, I will be sharing this with all of my family and friends who are eating sugar free.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Strawberry Freezer Jam I made the strawberry jam and it didn't "set" as I expected. My Sure Jell was in a packet like Jello and I measured 1 T for the pectin. The directions stated 25g and I wasn't sure how much that is. Will try 2 T next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent & only 5 cal. per Tbl. I really didn't think this would work, but was I ever wrong! At 5 cal. per tablespoon I'm never going back to sugar. I just lost 26# and I plan on keeping it off & with jam like this I can still eat jam!!
