Gooey Caramel Monkey Bread Recipe with Truvía® Cane Sugar Blend and Truvía® Brown Sugar Blend

  • 13 cup Truvía® Cane Sugar Blend

  • 2 tsp cinnamon

  • 4 cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits

  • 10 tablespoons butter

  • 12 cup Truvía® Brown Sugar Blend, packed

  • Non-stick cooking spray


  1. Pre-heat oven to 350°F.

  2. Spray fluted tube pan with non-stick cooking spray.

  3. Mix Truvía® Cane Sugar Blend and cinnamon in a 1-gallon food storage bag.

  4. Separate refrigerator biscuits and cut each one into quarters.

  5. Drop the dough pieces into the bag and shake lightly to coat with the Truvía® Cane Sugar Blend and cinnamon mixture.

  6. Place the coated dough pieces in the tube pan and sprinkle any extra mixture on top.

  7. In a 1-quart saucepan, bring butter and Truvía® Brown Sugar Blend to a boil over medium-high heat.

  8. Boil for 1 minute while stirring constantly then pour over biscuits.

  9. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.

  10. Let cool for 5 minutes, turn pan upside down on a plate to release the monkey bread.

  11. Pull apart to serve.

*This monkey bread has 160 calories and 6 grams of sugar per serving compared to sugar-sweetened money bread which has 170 calories and 12 grams of sugar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy and delicious! This recipe is so much easier to make than traditional Monkey Bread recipes. And by using Truvia brown sugar it cuts the calories but you still get the gooey caramel goodness that makes Monkey Bread so popular. A new family favorite.
