Ingredients
Ginger Turmeric Shots
6 medium oranges, washed and peeled
1 cup fresh ginger, washed and peeled
¼ cup fresh turmeric, washed and peeled (*do not substitute dried turmeric powder for fresh turmeric)
1 cup water
1 tablespoon Truvia® Stevia Sweetener Jar
Directions
- 1.
Juice oranges, lemons, ginger and turmeric using a juicer, collecting juices in a large pitcher.
- 2.
Whisk in the Truvia® Stevia Sweetener and black pepper until dissolved. Add water to thin out mixture slightly.
- 3.
Strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a large pitcher, pressing firmly to extract all liquid.
- 4.
Divide mixture into resealable shot bottles or small resealable jars. Shake well before serving.
- 5.
Tip: Store shots in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
- 6.
Tip: if you don't have access to a juicer, blend all ingredients together and strain through a fine mesh sieve.
