  • 1.

    For crust: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.

  • 2.

    Combine flour, baking powder, kosher salt, cinnamon and espresso powder in a small bowl.

  • 3.

    Beat butter, Truvia® Sweet Complete® Brown Sweetener and salt until light and fluffy.

  • 4.

    Add flour and mix until just combined. Press dough into prepared pan in an even layer.

  • 5.

    Bake until just set and lightly golden-brown, about 12-15 minutes.

  • 6.

    For filling: Combine apples, Truvia® Sweet Complete® Sweetener, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch and lemon juice in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

  • 7.

    Cook, stirring occasionally, until apples are softened slightly and mixture is thickened, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and cool slightly.

  • 8.

    For streusel topping: Combine flour, Truvia® Sweet Complete® Brown Sweetener and cinnamon in a small bowl. Cut in cold butter using a fork or fingertips until coarse crumbs form.

  • 9.

    Spread apple filling over baked crust and top evenly with streusel.

  • 10.

    Bake until top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling at edges, about 25-30 minutes.

  • 11.

    Cool completely before slicing into bars.
