Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Brown Sugar Swap I’ve Found So Far I’m a micro baker and I’ve been spending a lot of time lately behind the scenes experimenting with ingredients to meet different dietary needs without sacrificing the integrity of my baked goods. I have a love-hate (mostly hate tbh) relationship with sugar substitutes when it comes to baking, they’re notoriously difficult to work with and mess with texture and leave an aftertaste. I’ve been putting this Truvia brown sugar blend through its paces lately and the results are worth raving about. This is easily the closest imitation of brown sugar I’ve encountered so far. It has that signature moist and packable texture and provides that rich and chewy feel to my cookies that everyone loves. I did note that I had more spread than usual, which was it expected. Overall I’m impressed, and I believe this is a solid replacement for anyone looking to reduce the sugar in a recipe.

It has a delicious flavor with a touch of molasses that really feels natural and very much like real brown sugar. The texture is perfect for baking, making oats, desserts, coffee or even healthier home recipes. ✔ Sweet 1:1 like sugar ✔ Made with stevia of vegetable origin ✔ No artificial sweeteners ✔ Ideal for those looking to reduce sugar without sacrificing flavour I like it because it maintains the authentic sweet taste without that bitter feeling that other substitutes sometimes leave. In addition, it dissolves very well and works excellently in pastry recipes. It is definitely a practical option if you want to take care of your sugar intake but continue to enjoy your favorite foods.
