Orange Cranberry Whiskey Sour

Ingredients

Orange Cranberry Whiskey Sour

  • 1 ¼ cups fresh cranberries, washed and divided
  • ½ cup water
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ cup Truvia® Stevia Sweetener Jar
  • 1 ½ cups fresh orange juice
  • 1 ½ cups bourbon whiskey
  • ½ cup lemon juice, washed and freshly squeezed
  • Orange peels, washed, for garnish

Directions

  1. Combine 1 cup cranberries, water and kosher salt in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Bring mixture to a simmer and cook, until cranberries burst and mixture thickens slightly, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat and strain using a fine mesh sieve. Allow to cool completely at room temperature. Stir in Truvia® Stevia Sweetener until completely dissolved.
  3. Combine orange juice, whiskey, lemon juice and cooled cranberry syrup in a large serving pitcher. Chill until ready to serve.
  4. Fill serving glasses with ice. Top off each glass evenly with cocktail mixture. Garnish with remaining cranberries and orange peel twist. Serve and enjoy.
