Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Heat your oven to 350F.
  2. In medium bowl, sieve flour, cocoa, salt and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In large bowl, use a spoon or spatula to stir together melted butter, Truvia Sweet Complete Granulated Sweetener, vanilla extract, egg and water.
  4. Stir dry flour mixture into the wet mixture one cup at a time, beat with mixer on low for a few minutes.
  5. Once dough is well mixed, stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons on ungreased, parchment lined cookie sheet.
  7. Press down to flatten. (Use the bottom of a glass to make 2” circles).
  8. Bake 10 minutes.
  9. Cool for 2 minutes on cookie sheet.
  10. Transfer to rack and cool completely, about 15 minutes.
  11. Store in a sealed container.

Options (Will Affect Nutritional Information)

  • Try using white chocolate chip instead of semisweet chips.
  • Add ¼ cup pecans or walnuts.
  • Add 1 tsp of rum extract or 1 tsp ground chili pepper to spice it up.
  • Try using a gluten free flour but add 1/4 tsp more baking soda.
