  • Servings: 18 dumplings, 6 Tbsp of sauce

  • ½ lb extra lean ground turkey

  • 2 whole medium green onions, washed, trimmed and very finely chopped (about 6 Tbsp chopped)

  • 2 Tbsp whole wheat Panko bread crumbs

  • 1 Tbsp lower-sodium soy sauce

  • 1 medium garlic clove, very finely chopped

  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil

  • ½ tsp chili garlic sauce

  • ½ tsp fresh ground black pepper

  • 18 wonton wrappers

Sweet Chili Nectar Sauce
  • ¼ cup rice vinegar

  • ½ tsp xanthan gum*

* If you can’t find xanthan gum, you can try using 1 tsp cornstarch. You will need to heat starch with vinegar in a small sauce pan until boiling while stirring, remove from heat then add to your chili sauce and Truvía® Nectar. (Nutrition information may change when using alternate ingredients).
  • 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp Truvía® Nectar

  • 1 Tbsp chili garlic sauce

  1. Add the rice vinegar and xanthan gum to a blender. Blend them on high until the vinegar is about as thick as a syrup.

  2. Stir in the Truvía® Nectar and 1 Tbsp of chili garlic sauce.

  3. Refrigerate the sauce for at least one hour.

  1. Mix the ground turkey, green onions, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, the remaining ¼ tsp chili garlic sauce and pepper until well combined.

  2. Divide the filling among the wrappers, placing (about 1 Tbsp in each) it in the center of each wrapper and pinching around it to form a dumpling.

  3. Place a steamer rack in the bottom of a shallow saucepan or pot. Add enough water to reach just below the steamer rack. Mist the steamer rack with spray.

  4. Place pan over high heat until water boils, turn down heat to simmer. Add the dumplings, working in batches, if necessary, so they do not touch.

  5. Place a lid on the pan/pot and cook them until the ground turkey filling reaches an internal temperature of 165 °F, about 5-7 minutes.

  6. Serve with dipping sauce and enjoy!

** Makes 18 dumplings, 6 Tbsp of sauce. Each serving has 140 calories and 3 grams of sugar per serving compared to the full-sugar version that has 150 calories and 5 grams of sugar per serving
