Bowl of Cucumber Salad

This quick and easy cucumber salad is the perfect companion for a summer picnic. This salad is made with Truvia Original Sweetener and has 50% fewer calories* and 50% less sugar* than the regular sugar-sweetened version.

  • 3 English cucumbers, washed, peeled and sliced

  • ¼ of a small onion, washed and sliced thin

  • ¼ of a green pepper, washed and sliced thin

  • 2 large cloves of garlic, cleaned and diced

  • 2 tsp salt

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

  • ¼ cup of zero-calorie Truvia Original Calorie-Free Sweetener Spoonable Jar***

  • 1 cup vinegar


  • 1.

    In a large serving bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers, onion, green pepper and garlic.

  • 2.

    Sprinkle on salt and pepper.

  • 3.

    Combine the Truvia Original Sweetener and vinegar in a small bowl.

  • 4.

    Pour small bowl contents over cucumber mixture and mix well.

  • 5.

    Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.

  • 6.

    Serve with a slotted spoon.

  • 7.

    Cover and refrigerate any leftovers
