This berry delicious summertime dessert is made with Truvia® natural sweetener. This strawberry shortcake has 75% less sugar and 40% fewer calories than a sugar-sweetened strawberry shortcake.

1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced
1 Tbsp + 2¼ tsp Truvia
® natural sweetener spoonable*
1 cup low fat baking mix
2½ tsp Truvia
® natural sweetener spoonable**
⅓ cup skim milk
2 Tbsp fat free whipped dessert topping
* or 6 packets Truvia® natural sweetener
** or 3 packets Truvia® natural sweetener

1. Prepare fresh strawberries: rinse, hull and slice.
2. Sprinkle 6 packets of Truvia
® natural sweetener onto strawberries.
3. Stir and set aside.
4. Preheat oven to 425°F.
5. Mix together low fat baking mix, 3 packets Truvia
® natural sweetener and skim milk until it forms a soft dough.
6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet to make four shortcakes.
7. Bake for 9-12 min or until golden brown. Cool.
8. Slice shortcakes in half and fill with strawberries. Top with more strawberries and a dollop of fat free whipped topping.
