1 pound dried whole grain spaghetti or linguini
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes
1 cup pitted kalamata olives, halved
¼ cup drained capers
2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp + ½ tsp Truvia
® natural sweetener spoonable*
1 tsp red pepper flakes
½ tsp kosher salt
¼ cup chopped basil

1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook pasta according to package instructions for al dente. Drain well and set aside.

In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium high heat. Sauté onion and garlic for 5 minutes or until fragrant. Add tomatoes, olives and capers and bring to a simmer. Cook 5 to 8 minutes or until heated through. Stir in vinegar, Truvia
® natural sweetener to taste, red pepper and salt.

Add cooked pasta to sauce and cook 1 to 2 minutes or until pasta is cooked and has absorbed some of the sauce.

Divide between plates or shallow bowls and garnish with basil.
