Blueberry Pie with Truvia™ Natural Sweetener

Makes 9" Pie (8 servings)

This delicious pie is loaded with juicy blueberries and sweetened with the natural goodness of
Truvia™ natural sweetener. Made with Truvia™ natural sweetener this pie has 70% less sugar
and contains 20% fewer calories∗ than a full sugar pie.


INGREDIENTS

Pastry for double-crust 9-inch pie 3 Tbsp lemon juice
6 Tbsp cornstarch 1 Tbsp butter
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
6 cups fresh blueberries or 2 (16oz) packages frozen
1/3 Cup + 1 1/2 Tbsp Truvia™ natural sweetener spoonable*

* or 24 packets Truvia™ natural sweetener

 


 


 

DIRECTIONS

1. Assemble all ingredients; preheat oven to 400°F
2. Roll half of the pastry on floured surface 1 inch larger than inverted 9-inch pie pan. Ease
pastry into pan.
3. Toss blueberries with lemon juice in large bowl. Add cinnamon, cornstarch and Truvia™
to bowl. Toss until coated.
4. Pour blueberry mixture into crust.
5. Roll remaining pastry into circle large enough to cover inverted 9-inch pie pan. Place over blueberries, seal edges, trim and flute. Cover edge with 3-inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning. Cut slits in top to allow steam to escape.
6. Bake at 400°F for 55 to 60 minutes until crust is browned. Cool on wire rack.
